Point Claude SEO at a website and a team of agents audits it in parallel, then hands you a prioritised action plan. It's the kind of audit an agency charges thousands for, run from your terminal.
What is this repo
Claude SEO is a free, open-source plugin for Claude Code. Type /seo audit https://yoursite.com and up to 17 specialist agents check the site at the same time, then merge their findings into one plan sorted by impact. Every recommendation says why it matters and how you'll know the fix worked.
What it checks:
| Area | What it looks at |
|---|---|
| Technical SEO | Crawlability, indexing, sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, Core Web Vitals |
| Content | E-E-A-T, thin pages, topic coverage, content briefs |
| Structured data | Finds, validates and writes Schema.org markup |
| AI search (GEO) | How likely AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini are to cite you |
| Agent readiness | llms.txt, Markdown access, WebMCP, Lighthouse Agentic Browsing |
| Local & e-commerce | Google Business Profile, reviews, map pack, product pages, hreflang |
| Backlinks | Link profile from Moz, Bing and Common Crawl |
Reports are saved as Markdown, and /seo google report turns them into a PDF you can hand to a client.
